There is a saying that goes something like: "You are only as good as your last race." Well our last race was a DNF and we are not very proud of that. I don't know what you do to keep a bolt from shearing off, but we have made some changes so that we have four bolts sharing the load instead of two.
Tonight we are headed to Albion for the last Holt Count Sprint Show. Albion is fun track and a great little town. We have some friends there and the racers all have a good time. We are looking forward to shaking down our "Black Magic" car before Doniphan tomorrow.
Doniphan NCRA tomorrow should be fun. Last year's race was a thrilling finish between Chad, Mike Peters and the e85 (Johnson I think). The Mid Nebraska Speedway track surface is always tricky to figure out as it can go from rough and choppy to ultra-slick and even rubber down.
Both of these tracks are pretty much home-town for Chad and his family, so we are looking to give them all something to cheer about!
