For the first time in many years, I will NOT be fielding a car for the 360 or 410 Knoxville Nationals, and that is okay. I have so many other things on my plate right now that racing just has to take a back seat. Last Friday I had surgery on my left foot for a torn plantar fascia and I am happy to be on the road to recovery. Next week we will be spending time with Mari's family to celebrate her parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The following week I will be working with Land Grant University for content for the 2018 Tax Workbook in Indy. The week after that my sister and her family will be visiting from Switzerland. The UNL Tax institute will be hosting a Business Entities seminar the Wednesday of the Knoxville Nationals. If all things go well, I hope to be to Knoxville Thursday through Saturday to help and cheer on my friends competing in the greatest spectacle on dirt - the Knoxville Nationals. School starts here August 13th. Summer will be gone!
